About Me

Hello,

My name is Joe, and I'm originally from Northwest Indiana near Chicago. After graduating from design school, I moved to Colorado to continue my architecture and adventuring careers. Working hard and playing hard has always been a part of my ethos. As of writing, I've completed 38 of Colorado's 14 thousand foot peaks. I've also had the opportunity to play very involved roles in a number of architectural project types, and I believe I've learned a lot through those experiences in my early career. I'm inspired by anything considered difficult and how overcoming such difficulties can provide new insight into better methodologies moving forward.

I believe that the world of tomorrow is full of great challenges, like climbing a tall mountain peak lacking oxygen and with no shortage of danger. We're entering a time of unprecedented global change and turmoil. Climate Change, an American departure from global leadership, mass migration, and tightening economic opportunities all challenge the world of tomorrow. These challenges all inform the built environment. How can opportunities be found in all of these hardships in the world of design? That's one of the big questions I'm interested in, and I hope to inspire others with my explorations as we all continue to strive for a better tomorrow.
